Holiday Gift Show
The Howland Cultural Center’s Holiday Gift Show & Sale features over 30 vendors offering quality handmade goods and unique gifts for everyone. The show runs Nov 21–Dec 23, open Fri–Sun and daily during the week of Dec 15–23, with free admission from 12 to 5 PM most days.
Gift Types Include: beeswax, scarves, incense, music, quilts, woodcuts, sculpture, journals, jewelry, ceramics, candles, origami, photos, paintings, textiles, tote bags, wreaths, ornaments, books, chocolate, pottery, hats, toys, and more!
Morningside Farmer's Market
This market was founded in 2005 and is located on the SE corner of Morningside Park, on the corner of 110th St. and Manhattan Ave. The park gets its name from the eastern side (where the sun rises) of the cliff that separates Morningside Heights from the Harlem Plain. Vendors offer a variety of produce and mushrooms, as well as handmade goods like pickles, spirits, soups, pastas, bread, pies, fresh fish.
Cold Spring Farmer's Market
This non-profit market supports local, regional and sustainable farms by providing an outlet for direct sales. CS’s vendors are either farmers, farm employees, or food artisans selling value-added products with ingredients sourced from regional farms!
Park Slope Farmer's Market
This market, founded in 2004, is on the perimeter of a small neighborhood dog-friendly park. Interest from the surrounding community continually brings vendors invested in local, organic, fair trade and vegan items.
McGolrick Park Farmer's Market
This market, started in 2012, takes place in the middle of McGolrick Park near Shelter Pavilion, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The market setting has a relaxed atmosphere and offers lots of produce and handmade foods like bread and cheese, as well as plenty of vegan options.
