You’ll be the friendly face at our farm market tent — offering samples, chatting about our process, sourcing, tasting notes, and helping people discover their new favorite chocolate. In quieter moments, you’ll learn the craft: tempering chocolate, decorating bars, making filled confections, and prepping cacao drinks.

What you’ll do:

• Engage customers with product knowledge and samples

• Set up and break down market booths and festival tents (waking up early and some moderate lifting)

• Prepare and serve seasonal cacao beverages

• Restock products biweekly from our Putnam Valley base

• Learn craft chocolate-making techniques from a chocolatier

Requirements:

Must have a reliable vehicle (hatchback or SUV preferred) and clean driving record.

Preferred:

2+ years of experience in sales or customer engagement roles.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Can maintain upbeat energy and stay organized for hours in busy, sometimes chaotic environments

• Has steady hands and loves detail work (artists and creatives encouraged!)

• Is excited about ethical, sustainable food systems

• Has a reliable vehicle (hatchback or SUV preferred) and clean driving record

• Is available most weekends during our main market seasons:

  • Fall: Sept–Mid Oct

  • Holidays: Nov–Dec

  • Spring: April–June (Summer off — chocolate melts in the heat!)

Pay & Perks:

• $18-22/hr base + commission + travel/mileage reimbursement

  (**2025 avg. commission added $6/hr to base pay)
