Two Bean Bites - Coffee-Infused Chocolate
3 oz tin, 12 pieces
Two bean bites are a seriously delicious combination of stone ground coffee and silky dark chocolate, crafted by two like-minded creators.
We grind the whole coffee beans straight into our 75% base chocolate and process the two beans for 24-48 hours in our stone mélanger, or until they pass the silky smooth test.
These are low sugar, bite-sized energy boosts made from simple whole foods!
Great to keep on hand in the desk at work, for easy access to an afternoon pick-me-up.
Single Origin Colombian Coffee Beans - Andinas “Golden” Variety
These coffee beans are grown in the Andean Ridge Mountains of Santander in northern Colombia. Andinas Coffee uses sustainable Permaculture practices, and a unique fermentation process for their Golden Variety: 100% of the fruit mucilage is kept on the bean during a long fermentation in oak barrels, up to 4 months!
During the aging, pectin and sugars break down into alcohols, and unlock complex flavor compounds that carry over to our final tasting notes.
3 weeks of sun-drying require constant manual turning, spreading into thin layers and vigorous inspection to ensure each batch meets the high standards or our coffee makers.
Flavor notes of the Golden Coffee variety are reminiscent of chocolate and cocoa liqueur (go figure!), grapes, ripe peaches and plums. Finally, the long oak barrel aging gives the coffee a rich, smooth flavor, like a great single-malt scotch.
